Seventeen year old Declan Flannery has had the worst year of her life. Nothing has been the same since her father walked out the door one night, and never returned. Unable to cope, Declan distracts herself with reckless behaviour, alienating her childhood friends and hanging out with the wrong crowd. After a car crash almost takes her life, Declan realizes she needs to come to terms with her loss so she can get back to normal.

When a new mysterious boy comes to town, Declan's life becomes far from normal. 

As strange unexplainable sightings begin to happen, Declan learns the truth behind why 

her father left, of a family she never knew she had, and a destiny she could have never imagined.
